Hospitals are getting overloaded with people who shouldn’t be there. We created a self-assessment based on CDC guidelines to make recommendations. It’s clinically validated, and we believe may help people stay informed and reduce the load on health systems.
Hey Hunters,
The global impact of COVID-19 has been profound, and the public health threat it represents is the most serious seen in a respiratory virus since the 1918 H1N1 influenza pandemic.
Many predict that our health systems will face the brink of going over capacity partially because many people are getting unclear recommendations on how to handle their symptoms and concerns, putting those who need immediate medical attention for COVID or non-COVID related issues at risk.
The Gehr Family Center for Health System Sciences and Innovation at the USC Keck Medical Center designed this self assessment.
This clinically validated assessment takes CDC guidelines and makes them easy to use by personalizing a recommendation based on answers to a few questions regarding exposure and symptoms.
