How Customer Feedback Helped Me Build a Better Developer Tool 🚀
Building LetMeCheck.ai has been a wild solo journey — but one thing became clear early on: real user feedback is worth more than any feature I could dream up in isolation.
After launching my MVP, a few early adopters reached out with honest feedback — about login friction, scan failures, and the need for multi-repo support. Some bugs hurt. But each one helped me dig deeper, refactor code, and rethink the UX.
Here’s what’s changed:
✅ Removed email sign-up – connect directly with GitHub
✅ Support for scanning multiple repos under one GitHub account
✅ Improved error handling + added a backend queue (so you get your scan results even if things go down)
✅ Email notification once scan is ready
✅ Introduced a badge system to validate good coding practices (because devs deserve recognition)
Still in progress:
🔄 Better explanations for each issue
🤖 AI prompts to help you fix problems faster
This journey reminded me: when you listen, you build better. And I’m still listening.
If you’re a developer, founder, or agency and want to validate your code quality, I’d love your feedback too:
Let’s keep building tools that respect the craft. 💻💙
